Shipping within Canada:
For all shipping carriers, we ask people to please contact Judy Pede at JPChinchillas@aol.com. She makes all shipping cages for all chinchillas being shipped from our home.
Shipping costs are COD. We ship through Air Canada for most locations anywhere in Canada. For those in BC, we ship through westcoast air for the coastal area. It is very inexpensive($30.00 or less + GST) to ship with them and very quick.
Chinchilla(s) must be paid in full before shipping or arrangements
of shipping can be done.
Shipping within Canada is as low as $64.00(within B.C.) to as much as $150.00. Depends on size and weight of carrier, as well as destination and amount of chins per carrier. For an approximate cost of shipping to a Canadian location please email us. Shipping is done COD, so you would not pay till picking up your chin(s) at the airport. Contrary to what some may believe, the shipping cost is what the airlines charge, and is not what we charge.
Payment from Canadian buyers can be made with money orders, online bank deposit(if you bank online), alertpay, or paypal only.

A health certificate is required for all flights. Health certificate costs $12.50 per chin (+ taxes). Cost is in Canadian funds.
We recommend purchasing airline approved cages from Judy Pede of JPChinchillas@aol.com. All prices in U.S. funds will vary
depending on the exchange rate at the time.
Payments from U.S. buyers can be made through an international money order, alertpay, or paypal only.
Shipping relatively costs $130 -$140.00 US to most places within the US. It can also be higher, depending on how many chinchillas are shipped per container. We do however use Air Canada, Alaskan or United to ship chinchillas to the US.

Shipping would have to be paid on the day the chinchilla is shipped, at the
airlines if sent through Air Canada. We ship COD. All other airlines, shipping must be prepaid prior to flying out.
Cage , health certificate, and chinchilla(s) will need to be paid in full, before the chinchilla(s)
can be shipped.

To Place a Chin on Hold:
If someone wants to place a chin on hold before it is weaned (should it be a baby),
I require a non refundable deposit of half the price of the chinchilla. I do not hold a chinchilla
without a deposit first. So if, for example, the chinchilla is $100.00 CA. $50.00 CA is
required for a deposit, and when the chinchilla is ready to go to its new home,
the other half ($50.00 CA) must be paid before the chinchilla can be shipped or
go to its new home. Reciepts are sent via email or written out in person,
immediately upon recieving the deposit. Deposits are only refundable if the chinchilla purchased becomes ill, has an accident or injury prior to shipping. Please see agreement policy for more details.
I do not hold any chinchillas for anyone without recieving a deposit. I no longer will place people on waitlists. Please check back or email us.
